This portion of the site will have some information about where we are living in Japan. All three of us will be living in the “Kansai” or “Kinki” region of Japan.

More specifically, we all live in the Hyogo prefecture of Japan. A prefecture is sort of equivalent a province or a state here in America.

To summarize the article – Takarazuka is best known for it’s all-female musical performance group called the Takarazuka Revue. You can read more about the Revue here. Takarazuka is also home to natural hot springs, The Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum, and a large fireworks festival. Takarazuka is a “bedroom community” with most residents commuting to either the close-by cities of Kobe or Osaka for employment.
